ARE YOU READY FOR 2012/2013 FIRE SEASON?

 

The Fire Danger Period for Eastern Metropolitan Region (including Mt Evelyn) will commence from 1am on 7th January 2013. This means that fires cannot be lit in the open air without a permit from CFA or a Municipal Fire Prevention Officer. ...Everyone in the community needs to do the right thing and follow the fire restrictions that are in place for this period.   For further information on the restrictions, please visit: http://www.cfa.vic.gov.au/warnings-restrictions/

Mount Evelyn Fire Brigade is a member of, and the Headquarters for the Maroondah Group of Brigades - in District 13, It is situated at the Northern end of the Dandenong Ranges's, located in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, some 42Kms from the City central in Victoria Australia.
